Alien Invasion expands - Dota 2

"We as a team are grateful and excited that a renown eSports organisation like Alien-Invasion is willing to take their first steps into Dota 2 with us." 

Viele Angebote wurden abgewägt, Umfragen zu eurer Meinung gestartet und eine interne Diskussion durchgeführt.

Das Ziel war eine Erweiterung unseres Teams um eine neue Sparte:

Dota 2

Deshalb haben wir nach längerer Überlegung ein Team verpflichtet, welches den Alien Invasion Grundsätzen entspricht. Es sollte eines sein, das die von uns gesetzten Vorgaben umsetzen kann, um sich weiter zu entwickeln. Wir wollen keinen großen Namen einkaufen und uns mit fremden Lorbeeren schmücken, wir wollen wie immer jungen Talenten eine Chance geben, sich in der Szene weiter zu etablieren.

Aus diesem Grunde haben wir uns für folgendes Line-up entschieden, welches zuvor für das Team WinRAR gespielt hat:

Felix 'Ezalor' de Zwart, 18 Jahre, Niederlande, Captain und Secondary Support.
David "Smuk" Pečnik, 21 Jahre, Slowenien, Carry.
Mantas 'Tux'' Būdvytis, 18 Jahre, Litauen, Offlane.
Mete Han 'Exist' Aksüt, 20 Jahre, Deutschland, Solo Mid.
Jonas 'Creatret' Marty, 20 Jahre, Deutschland, Primary Support
Hassan "MasterRisk" Mouneimne, 19 Jahre, Dänemark, Manager.

Dies wird von nun an unser neues Dota 2-Team sein.
Des Weiteren haben wir das Team “Mit Mittelmaß zum Erfolg” als Trainingspartner und B-Team auserkoren. Wir hoffen damit, einen konstanten Sparringpartner zu bieten, der auch selbst aus den Spielen lernen kann und davon profitiert. Das B-Team besteht aus folgenden Spielern:

Kevin Brech - DarthSorrow, Captain
Gerrit Doherr - PainRain
Marco Ochsenfahrt - Mango
Christian Budde - EpicMan
Marcel Hoppe - Kptfury
Marius Pahlke - Mrazer

Außerdem haben wir auch in den internen Reihen weiter aufgestockt, und mit Avy ein neues Gesicht für den Dota 2 Newsbereich gewinnen können. Als langjähriger Spieler von Dota, HoN und Dota 2 konnte er viel Wissen über Spieler und Teams aus erster Hand sammeln und wird in Zukunft die News über unseren Dota 2-Bereich verfassen.

“Wir als Team sind dankbar und gespannt, dass eine bekannte eSports-Organisation wie Alien Invasion mit uns ihre ersten Schritte in Dota 2 gehen will. Unser jetztiges Line-up ist noch relativ neu, jedoch verbessert sich unsere Leistung als Team stetig und wir hoffen, dass die Seriösität einer Organisation wie Ai uns auf die nächste Stufe bringen kann, um die Spitze in Dota 2 zu erreichen. Wir wollen uns mit den Besten messen und natürlich auch spannende Spiele für unsere Fans bieten!”

Many discussions were weighed, polls were started and we discussed in-house. The aim was to extend our team with a new division in our roster:

Dota 2

Therefore we signed a team after quite a long consideration time, which fits the Alien Invasion principles. We wanted a team that can develope under the circumstances we provide for them. We do not want to buy big names playing for us and earn other’s people glory, we want to give a chance to young talents to establish further in the eSports scene itself.

That’s why we have decided in the favor of the following line-up, which played previously for Team WinRAR:

Felix 'Ezalor' de Zwart, 18 years old, the Netherlands, captain and secondary support.
David "Smuk" Pečnik, 21 years old, Slovenia, carry.
Mantas 'Tux'' Būdvytis, 18 years old, Lithuania, offlane.
Mete Han 'Exist' Aksüt, 20 years old, Germany, solo mid.
Jonas 'Creatret' Marty, 20 years old, Germany, primary support
Hassan 'MasterRisk' Mouneimne, 19 years old, Denmark, manager

From now on this will be our new Dota 2-team.
Besides that we have also chosen “Mit Mittelmaß zum Erfolg” as a practice partner and B-team to help our A-team practicing. The B-team consists of the following members:

Furthermore we have also stockpiled internally with a new face for our Dota 2 news section, Avy. He has played Dota, HoN and Dota 2 over the last few years and acquired a lot of knowledge and information at first hand. In the near future he will write everything regarding our Dota 2-team.

We haven't been playing together for that long but have been improving steadily as a team and hope that the professionalism an organisation like Ai brings will give the extra edge we need to reach the top of Dota 2. We are aiming to compete with the best teams and along that, provide great shows for our fans!”
